How long are initial consultations?

Initial consultations last one hour and they will be billed at the hourly rate. The consultation will be billed for the hourly rate of the attorney with whom you meet and payment will be due at that time. We do not accept checks for initial consultations.

Does the firm represent me once we have had an initial consultation?

No. To engage the services of Schmergel Family Law, PLC, you must sign a written agreement and pay a fee advance or deposit, often referred to as a retainer.
